Tonganoxie Community Historical
Society Activities
Saturday and Sunday

The
ribbon cutting at the terrific new museum during
the Tonganoxie Days celebration in 2003.
The Historical Society, located at 201 W. Washington St., in Tonganoxie, will be a busy place during this year's Tonganoxie Days celebration. The Museum, the Honey Valley School and the Reno Methodist Church will all be open.
We will be doing a quilt show in conjunction with the Sacred Heart Altar Society
spotlighting 3 areas:
1. Regular quilts and anything quilted in the barn;
2. Vintage quilts which must be at least 50 years old in the Reno Church; and
3. fancy needlework celebrating the seasons in the Honey Valley School.
We will also have a booth downtown with membership information. We will be open Saturday, June 14th 9:00 to 4:00 and Sunday, June 15th 1:00 to 4:00. The museum will also be open both days. A vintage car show and other collections will be on display of interest to men.
Call the Historical Society at (913) 845-2477 for more information.
